DIY wedding ceremony chairs

we have booked our location of the simple wedding ceremony... part luscious green lawn, part soft sandy beach... with a lovely natural sandy aisle...
we are thinking the guest should not get their feet dirty and would stay on the lawn... some to sit side by side on the elevated "bench", looking down onto the "beach stage"...
however not all guest would be able to bend down, and crouch down into seating position, dangling their feet on the edge of the lawn... so seating would be required for comfort of some selected...
what to do?

should we fork out upwards of $500 for several hours hire of folded chairs and the like?
would DIY be possible?
what would be the most stress free, easy to set up, light weight, low cost but functional and visually pleasing method?
sourcing? IKEA it is... so i searched on their website and found this low cost light weight well-designed wonder! and to my delight, on the same day, i also found some bargain fabrics at IKEA AS-IS! double bargain!
the AS-IS fabric is hidden/ locked into its upholstery cover self...
the $5.95 EVERT stool... it also doubles up as a container - in the decision to purchase them, i already thought of their reincarnation after the ceremony - would they be dumped in the rubbish tip? would they be ebayed en masse? i am sure some would stay as seating around the house... some would be given new leather covers for the formal lounge area... others would turn into our new dirty laundry sorting tubs... the remainder would be used as soaking dirty gym clothes for mcduck...
they are sturdy and not too small on the bottom...
some guests may find them too hard for their bottom though... i am working on some inner circular cushion to soften the "seat"
here... i have "freed" the upholstery covers to their primary fabric self...
the very first cover was made freehand without a pattern... i draped the fabric around the stool to get some measurements...
abit of cutting later...
i got the 2 pieces of fabric that would form the structure of the "cover"

then i traced it on some spare wrapping tissue... toughening the edges with clear box tape...

the second fabric was cut and sewing began...

sewing the circular top required some pinning...

scrap fabric was not wasted... bits and pieces were sewn together to make to big enough for another pattern to be cut out... so each piece of upholstery fabric ended up into 4 covers! considering the upholstery fabric was only $5 a pop, normally over $100 (i bought 3!) i was able to get 12 covers for $15...
abit plain... but could be dressed up with customised "double happiness" logo and some silk flower attachments (that later..)
here are 4... side by side and stacked... ready to go...
just have to make the other 8 covers and then get more fabric from AS-IS to make up to 25!
