homemade hand and body cream

the only body butters / cream / bars i can use are from Lush, it doesn't make me itchy... other than that, i could only use the very basic "emulsifying ointment" (from the chemist)...
as times are tough with spiraling petrol prices, instead of spending 10s of 100s of dollars (at lush) buying creams, i thought, why don't i just make my own (or value-adding onto the relatively cheap but boring emulsifying ointment which retails for about $8 for 1/2kg?)
not that i have not done this b4... i dug out my collection of essential oils - lavender, tea tree, ylang ylang... and started mixing... also added into the mix was some left over vitamin E oil from work...

at the end of the day... i ended up with 2 lush black tubs full, plus 1 lush shampoo tin full and a green body shop tub full...

there was also the modified johnson's baby oil with (personally) added lavender, tea tree and ylang ylang oil...

now i can stay hydrated and smell nice at the same time without spending a penny... bargain!
